South Korean entertainer Lee Si An has won a legal dispute against her former agency, Leaders Entertainment. The Seoul Central District Court ruled in her favor, rejecting the agency's claims and declaring a contract extension invalid.
The case focused on an agreement that was signed before Lee Si An appeared on Netflix's popular reality show Single's Inferno 4. Leaders Entertainment claimed that the agreement extended her exclusive contract beyond its original end date and argued that she had failed to meet her contractual responsibilities.

However, the court reached a different conclusion. Judges found that Lee Si An had agreed to the extension based on information provided by the agency that was not fully accurate. The court stated that there was insufficient evidence to support claims that her appearance on Single's Inferno 4 required her to remain under the agency's management for a longer period.
As a result, the court ruled that the extension agreement could not be considered legally valid. It also dismissed the agency's request for financial penalties and found no proof that Lee Si An had violated the terms of her original contract.
The decision marks an important victory for the entertainer, who gained public attention through programs such as Idol School and Produce 48. Her popularity later increased further following her appearance on Netflix's Single's Inferno 4.
The ruling brings an end to a closely watched legal dispute and allows Lee Si An to move forward without the contract extension imposed by her former agency. Fans have welcomed the decision, while the case has also sparked discussions about transparency and fairness in entertainment contracts.
