London’s Science Museum will open its Pokémon Space Trail on Friday, October 2, pairing the characters with real space exploration across nine galleries.
The activity runs until January 3, 2027, and is included with a general admission ticket, according to the museum’s official event page. General admission is free and should be booked before visiting.
Created with the European Space Agency and The Pokémon Company International, the trail is intended to introduce visitors to ESA technology and missions alongside the fictional worlds of Pokémon. Visitors collect a free trail guide in Energy Hall.
The trail and shop have different booking arrangements
The accompanying Pokémon x ESA Shop requires its own free timed ticket. A museum admission booking should not be treated as a shop reservation.
The museum lists October 2 as the next ticket release, covering shop visits from October 10 to November 1. Later dates have separate release windows shown on the official shop page.
Stock is not guaranteed by a ticket. The museum says selected products have purchase limits and visitors may need to queue at busy times. The shop has step-free access through Lift B in Energy Hall.

The museum is on Exhibition Road in South Kensington. Its published hours are 10am to 6pm, with closures from December 24 to 26 during the trail’s run.
