Prince William came together with one the esteemed Australian conservationist, Robert Irwin, for an important cause.

The future king plans on supporting climate change innovation and global participation at the Earthshot Prize Assembly in London today at the start of the Climate Action Week.

They were seen climbing a double decker bus in London on the Prince and Princess of Whales social media serving as a snippet of the event for viewers.

Robert is the son of the late conservationist and environmentalist, Steve Irwin, and takes on after his father in terms of career. He is the ambassador for William’s Earthshot Prize. The 22-year-old advocates for animal rights and works for conserving wildlife at the Australian zoo.

Word got out that William and Robert were taking a ride on a “electric double decker bus – the 3000th to enter the TFL fleet”.

William is also gathering finalists and winners, along with global leaders from business and philanthropy, to applaud solutions.

A day before, William discussed the importance of technologic innovation and businesses and sustainable steps to “fix the planet” with Emma Watson and Benedict Cumberbatch at a summit.

Currently, the future monarch aims to advocate a similar cause alongside Robert. The two are reuniting after last year when Robert had to sit out the event because of his participation in Dancing With the Stars. William had been “rooting” for him and Robert did succeed in the competition with his dance partner Whitney Carson.
