Amazon is basically preparing for the important step in building the Amazon Leo satellite internet network. The company has plans to launch the 36 satellites on the LE-03 mission, making the largest no of satellite ever carried by an Ariane rocket. The launch is basically scheduled for the June 17, 2026, from the Kourou, French Guiana.

These missions use the Ariane 6 rocket with a newly upgraded P160C with solid rocket boosters. These boosters carry more fuels than previous version, the rocket lift heavier payloads (The cargo or the equipment that rocket carries into space) into the low Earth orbit. Because of this improvement or upgrade then the rocket can carry around 36 satellites but the Earlier Ariane 6 launches carry only 32 satellites.
After LE-03 mission, Arianespace will launch the 100 Amazon Leo satellites just in three missions completed within the five months. Amazon already place more than 330 satellites into orbit through the 12 successful missions. This shows that the company fast progress in the building in its global satellite constellation. Amazon Leo want to give fast and the reliable internet network to people who live in places where good internet is not available or so much slow. This service will support homes, businesses, schools, hospitals, and the emergency services, and the travelers. It also improves the internet access for rural communities and to help more people connected to online education, the healthcare, and digital services.
The upgraded boosters or the new boosters were developed by the Ariane Group in Europe. Their production basically supports the European space industry by creating the jobs and encouraging technological innovations. According to Oxford Economics, Amazon Leo's investment in Europe is expected to be the contribute €2.8 billion to European economy and create thousands of jobs.

Amazon has signed the contracts for more than the 100 launches using the different rockets, including Ariane 6, Atlas V, Falcon 9 and the Vulcan Centaur, and New Glenn. This multi-launch strategy helps the Amazon send the satellites into the space quickly and safely with the fewer delays.

The LE-03 mission is a major milestone for the Amazon Leo. By using the improved rocket technology and its upgraded satellite network, Amazon is now moving closer to goal of providing high-speed internet to the millions of people around the world. As more the satellites are launched, the more the company expects to begin expanding its internet service to new regions of the world later this year.
