England received a very bad news at the 2026 FIFE World Cup. Midfielder Jordan Henderson will miss the rest of the tournament just because of serious arm injury.
According to the Reuters the 36-year-old player need a surgery after hurting his arm during team's celebrations after beating the Mexico 3-2 in the Round of a 16.

The accident happened in a famous Aztecs Stadium in a Mexico City. After the England wins the match the players celebrated this with their fans. Henderson tried to climb over the barrier to join the celebration but he slipped and fell very badly. He landed on his arm video showed his forearm bend in an unusual way. Everyone quickly realise this that the injury was so serious.
The medical team rushed into the field to help him. Henderson was taken away on a stretcher and given oxygen before taken to a hospital in a Mexico City. While the rest of the England team returns to their training camp in a Kansas City, Henderson stayed in a hospital. One member of the England's medical staff stays with him to make sure that he received the best care.
Henderson did not play a match against Mexico, but he is still very important member of a England squad. The former Liverpool captain now plays for the Brent ford is known for his leadership, and experience, and a positive attitude. He helps guide the younger players and in respected by both his teammates and a coaches. His absence is a big loss for England but the team continues its World Cup journey.
So far but the England's Football Association has not made an official statement about the Henderson's injury. Sky Sports reported that he need surgery, which means that he will not be able to play again in this World Cup.
